I laughed out loud when I read the following New Yorker article by Nora Ephron. It centers on that feeling one gets when watching a movie and A. you feel like you’ve missed something crucial while following the plot and B. it doesn’t seem portrayed the way it was in the book.

Day three of feeling like a zombie… I stayed home today to rest and I’m hoping the Emergen-C, half a gallon of OJ, green tea with kombucha and water will provide the fluids I need to get me out of this funk. Why the excessive drinking? Well, I tend to get extremely exhausted when sick: Exhibit A.

I remember visiting Costa Rica and thinking, you know, I could retreat here for awhile. Well, I think I’ve found my dream house— a writer’s retreat in the jungle! The house was designed by architect Gianni Botsford for his father who owned 16,000 books! Amazing!
