Now on W. 12th
And the air is filled with bubbles…
Walking in the West Village...
…along Perry St. I hear a very excited young lady shout, “That’s her house! That’s her house!”
I laugh to myself knowing that “she” is only a character who happens to be getting a lot of attention these days. Yes, it’s silly and you wouldn’t find me fawning over “Carrie’s” fictional building, but even so, I can undestand how...

I never do these surveys, but I kinda liked this one.
Ten years ago I was: I was finishing up my final days of high school! Yes, my 10-year reunion is coming up! Unfortunately, I have so much going on over here that I won’t be able to make it. Oh, but I will have a few spies among the crowd to report back :)
Five things on today’s to do list:

Looks so dark and ominous outside….I love it!!
And, I don’t have an umbrella! Eek! This dark cloud is a little frightening- like pure evil.

I’ve been looking forward to a search feature for Muxtape since its unveiling. Looks like I found a solution- with Muxfind you can search by song and by artist. Yay :)
Old, Funny, Unpredictable New York
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! The holiday weekend did not disappoint! I discovered I did in fact have a few friends in town, which of course added to the fun. Here’s the recap.
Saturday- Began with an early walk with Elle (Sarah’s chihuahua) all over Chelsea, Gramercy and Union Square. Next Lindsey, Anthony and I found ourselves at The Cloisters, a medieval monastery-like structure and museum...
Cloisters + Comedy + Lindsey + Erin = Perfect...
soupsoup:
Thank you to the two lovely girls I spent my saturday with. I took some great shots at the Cloisters in the afternoon and laughed my ass off at Comix in the evening. Capped it off with “So You Think You Can Dance.” I think that pretty much makes for a pretty solid Saturday. Flickr link to the Cloisters album will be forthcoming.
Thank you, Soup! Yesterday was a perfect Saturday...
Ugh, I look crazy in this freeze frame!
Anyway, I present you tonight’s video. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!

Mathnet > Numb3rs
sharingtime:
I wish Mathnet were an actual TV series. I don’t remember much about my childhood, but I do recall being riveted by its stories and characters.
Oh wait, it is a TV series. It’s called Numb3rs.
I’ve never watched Numb3rs, but I was seriously obsessed with Mathnet growing up. George Frankly, Kate Monday, and then Pat Tuesday! The first dozen numbers in the Fibonnacci...
Ooh, get ready for an insightful post:
my office is freezing. I think it might be time for a hot chocolate.
design week starts in manhattan today. (via sarazucker)
This weekend also marks the first annual NY Photo Festival. I will be busy going back and forth from Manhattan to Brooklyn checking out all that I can on both fronts. Ah, photography and design, the only thing else I could ask for this weekend is nice weather, but I know that’s not going to happen :P

Variety's Ten Innovator's to Watch →
“The men and women on Variety’s inaugural “10 Innovators to Watch” — 15 names, actually — are looking beyond 2008 to build the entertainment industry of the future, from the digital studio to the home and cyberspace.”
This list includes two names in particular whose work I’m very familar with—Christophe Abric and Mathieu Saura of La Blogotheque. They’re known for...

Heart Broken
lovepuppy: I’m 15 minutes into the documentary War Dance (about civil war in Uganda) and I’m already crying and heart broken. I’ve been wanting to see this doc for awhile now. Thanks for the reminder!
Twitter tweat
Just signed up for Twitter, again. I signed up last year while at SXSW at the nagging of my friend Moka and my twittering lasted a few months until I found a new web app to obsess over- um, Tumblr.
Anyway, I’m starting a-fresh. My Twitter is here.
