WatchIt’s 11.44 p.m. and I’m sitting in my room researching cameras - looking at HVX200 plus adapter or possibly the new Canon 7D. There’s a lot of info out there, but this video came up on the DVX user site. I started watching and right there, in the very first scene, is my friend Josh Ruben breaking the heart of new SNL F-bomber Jenny Slate in the short film Obvious Child.

WatchI heard about this show this morning at brunch. Bon Iver + a foggy old Hollywood cemetery at 6 a.m. = an incredibly memorable, surreal experience. I’m bummed I missed out. Great video capturing the moment here.

What the?! My friend Hilary in her very own Jake & Amir vid?! Hilary’s a producer at College Humor and although she may have been slapped online I can assure you this would never happen in real life. The girl’s a kickboxer and could easily kick ass and take names.
The Treatment
So, I’m working on a preliminary treatment for my upcoming documentary film and because the story will be driven by its characters I’m very interested in following a 3-act story structure. It’s a model I’ve seen work well with stories involving a performance, contest or some sort of effort like a campaign, etc. and think it will work really well for this film.
