So this is a behind-scenes video blog of a documentary called For Thousands of Miles that the director, Mike Ambs, has been working on for years. I’ve just discovered it and I am slowly catching up on the whole story, he posts video blogs almost every week updating the post-production process.
The whole story is very inspiring from a filmmaking aspect and I can’t wait to see the finished film.

This is so great! I love the design and purpose of this filmmaker’s blog. It’s definitely given me some ideas in regards to how I would like to chronicle the making of own film (and the other’s I’m currently working on). I’m not getting hasty with the blog idea yet though - I want to get as much of my story/concept together before doing so. Blog time will begin once I go into production, which I would like to happen sometime this fall if all goes according to plan.
