Weird
All by coincidence, I watched two romantic comedies today each featuring scenes where the actors sang the “say a little prayer” song to a group. The first, My Best Friend’s Wedding, an easy guess, but the second was Mr. Wonderful, a bad 80s flick about a rekindled romance between a Con Edison electrician and his collegiate ex wife. I know, the real question is why did you waste away your Saturday (I’m sick and even that’s not a good excuse), but let’s instead focus on the fact that this song popped up twice and in two different decades of cinema! What the? Is someone trying to tell me something?
