Oscars Will Now Feature 10 Best Picture Nominees
WHAT?! I don’t like this - 10 films?! Really?! My gut reaction to this is that it’s just going to muddy up the pot with some so/so films. I love the Oscars, always have, but this is simply a marketing trick to get more viewers. It disrupts the tradition and honor of what it means to be an Academy Award nominee.
