We were living in a time by the 80s or late 70s when nobody was really talking anymore, in-depth, it was all on the surface, it was all very superficial. I think that if I had one goal with this movie it was to hopefully activate people to talk. And of course everybody reminisces about the wonderful days in college when they stay up all night, you know, but then they say well then we got into the real world, there was no time, we had children, I have a job, you know you can’t talk anymore. And when I go to restaurants now, and listen to the conversations around me, it’s horrifying.
