The trailer for Don’t You Forget About Me, a documentary following four young filmmakers as they search for John Hughes, a writer, director and producer who’s films many of us know from Saturday morning movie marathons filled with teenage angst. Despite his huge success, Hughes kept a low profile and pretty much disappeared from Hollywood in the early 90s.
No idea when the film will be released, but it appears to include interviews with many recognizable actors and actresses from his films, including Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Kelly LeBrock, Andrew McCarthy, etc. Check out the website and blog for more info.
