I came across this beautiful photo of Boots Mallory (what an amazing name) on the set of the 1933 film Hello Sister! the other day, and it became my inspiration for a little lighting experiment. I’m definitely going to try this again as I didn’t have the direct lighting I needed to do this right. It’s far from a replication - just an interpretation- but I thought I’d share anyway.
