I spent this past weekend with great friends in Asbury Park, NJ for the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Concert benefitting the Surfrider Foundation, an organization committed to protecting our oceans and beaches.
One of my favorite moment’s from the weekend happened shortly after this photo was taken. Hurricane Danny stopped by the shore and at the height of the storm I, along with Sarah and Katie, remained on the beach, put on our rain ponchos and gloves, and bagged up all sorts of rubbish polluting the sandy beach. I had such a good time laughing, enjoying the scenery and filling my trash bag despite the yuck weather that I definitely plan on volunteering and supporting the Surfrider Foundation from here on out.
