GPOYW - Me + the-cutest-niece-ever! I’ve been a little bummed out lately by the fact that I haven’t seen my family in well over a year. Yeah, it’s sad. I know. It’s like the city and all the opportunity and challenges it brings has just kinda sucked me in. It’s much more difficult to find your way home when home is a six plus hour flight away. It’s no excuse though, but luckily my family came to me this past weekend. While my brother, sister-in-law and five-month-old niece were in town I completely removed myself from every bit of distraction and spent every waking minute with them as we explored the city. I even got to babysit, which I haven’t done since I was about 18 years old. As you can see, my niece is an absolute angel. I was sad when they left, but I just booked my ticket home for Christmas, so I’ll see everyone soon.
