No Grinch here!
Following the opening night of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, I made my way to the holiday-themed after party. The highlight, stumbling downstairs to find a small room full of Broadway kids, literally eight to 13-year-olds, belting show tunes and improvising choreography. There was a karaoke machine, but it’s not like they needed it, they already knew all the words—from Sherry from Jersey Boys to Do-re-mi from The Sound of Music to Proud Mary (okay, not a show tune) by Ike and Tina. Surrounded by candy gum drops and cotton candy, I felt like I was on the set of High School Musical the Christmas special!
