Last night, Lauren, Sarah, Katie and Melissa and I met up at Rolf’s, a german restaurant in Gramercy. The place goes completely overboard with Christmas lights and decor. Anyway, to this video and its reason for being. Somehow the topic of conversation turned to the classic 90s hit Stay by Lisa Loeb, a tune I and clearly many other 20-something gals get very nostalgic about. It’s the whole Reality Bites thing. Lauren once again reminded us that she did a serious monologue of the song’s lyrics in an acting workshop and voila - we got silly and went around the circle interpreting lines.
On a side note, I wasn’t sure how my 7D was going to handle sound in such a noisy restaurant without an off-camera mic, but it’s surprisingly audible.
