Twisted Nerve is now best known as the tune Darryl Hannah’s homicidal character whistles as she gets ready to take care of business in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1; however, with that scene, Tarantino was paying homage to the 1968 psychological thriller Twisted Nerve (dir. Roy and John Boulting), where this piece originally appeared.
