I wish Mathnet were an actual TV series. I don’t remember much about my childhood, but I do recall being riveted by its stories and characters.

Oh wait, it is a TV series. It’s called Numb3rs.

I’ve never watched Numb3rs, but I was seriously obsessed with Mathnet growing up. George Frankly, Kate Monday, and then Pat Tuesday! The first dozen numbers in the Fibonnacci sequence are engrained in my memory because of that show.
