I’m saddened to hear of Alexander McQueen’s passing today. McQueen was irreverent, boundlessly creative and never held back on his vision. He also was bold enough to materialize it, regardless of the difficulty, and that’s something I’ve always respected about him.
I love this photo of McQueen and his friend (and discoverer) Isabelle Blow taken by David LaChapelle for Vanity Fair’s Cool Brittanica issue in 1996. RIP.
