I met Jason Hackenwerth, the artist immersed in balloons pictured above at my New Years party this year. We discussed his work, but to be quite honest, I couldn’t really picture anything beyond a few hyped up balloon animals.
While reviewing the APW passport, I noticed a featured balloon artist, immediately put two and two together and began to scan the crowd for his work entitled, Megamites. Sure enough, I spotted him walking around the festival in a brightly-colored balloon structure that was getting all sorts of attention from concert-goers.
