Sitting outside working in my backyard listening to Etta James and trying to relax. This month has been an absolute whirlwind and I’ve got to admit, it has been overwhelming. My work/life balance is completely off. Work is supposed to slow down in Sept., but we’ll see. Luckily, I’m having fun - but, friends/family/life all are so much more important. An obvious statement, yes. Yet, I can’t believe how easily I let a big project overweigh matters in my personal life. Not okay!  Thankfully, I have a bit of a reprieve - my sister’s wedding. On Tuesday, I’ll be traveling to LA for a oceanside wedding on Laguna Beach. I can’t wait for a bit of a break, and more importantly, time spent with family!
