I often find that a particular sound or song grows on me once I see the accompanying music video. I’m a highly visual person I suppose. Just like film, I find that a music video draws me in even more so when the sound vibes with a visual of authentic feeling. It has to be done right of course and there are certainly examples of when a music video does absolutely nothing for the song.
Whatever, all I know is that I can’t stop listening to this song by Francis and The Lights now that I’ve seen the video. The lighting, the Prince-like moves, the sound - it’s all amazing!
