Yet, I walked away from this strange “pet store” thinking about consumerism and animal cruelty. So many industries are built around the killing of animals. I’m not saying “meat is murder,” but I do have issues with cruelty and testing. I don’t think twice when putting on lipstick or my leather boots, and this exhibit proved I’m not alone.
