Each Sunday I review four plus hours of short and feature-length films for an upcoming film festival. I cozily nest, watch films, and draft up multiple reviews. It’s time consuming, but I don’t mind - ultimately, it’s helping me understand what it takes to produce a festival ready film.
We’ve been asked by the festival coordinators to watch every film in its entirety, but at this very moment, I’m having a really hard time grasping the thought of finishing the remaining 60 minutes of this 80 minute train wreck I’m currently viewing. It’s filled with cliches, bad acting, slow scenes, low-budget special effects and soap-opera dramatics. IT’S THE WORST!
Up until now, I’ve given 60 plus films my undivided attention, oh but this one is really testing me!
